About Us

Getting to Know Aby Early Learning Center

A bilingual daycare and preschool in Provo, UT, built on balanced nutrition, hands-on learning, and genuine care for every child.

Our Approach

So Much More Than Daycare

ABY isn't just a place where your child plays, eats, and stays safe while you work. It's an early learning center. Here, every child is seen, heard, and nurtured in every dimension:

  • Sensory stimulation: touching, exploring, feeling, experimenting.
  • Educational stimulation: learning through play, at their own pace of development.
  • Social-emotional stimulation: learning to share, take turns, express their feelings, and be part of a community.

We're a high-quality bilingual (Spanish-English) program in Provo, UT, licensed F22-88341, led by Elvira Santa Fe de Canoso, an educator with 42 years of experience and a current National CDA Credential #C000233666.

We believe in mindful nutrition: no sugary juices, an emphasis on vegetables, with menus adapted for babies from 12 months through children up to age 5, following CACFP guidelines.

What We Value

The Principles Behind Every Day

Nurturing Environment

Every teacher is focused on making children feel safe, valued, and excited to be here.

Bilingual Enrichment

English and Spanish are woven into songs, stories, and everyday routines.

Balanced Nutrition

Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack are part of every full day of care.

Safety First

Secure pickup and drop-off procedures, licensed operations, and security cameras at the entrance and in every classroom give families complete peace of mind.

Community-Minded

We work with state subsidy programs so quality early learning is within reach.

School Readiness

Our preschool curriculum builds the letters, numbers, and social skills kids need next.

Our Team

Taught & Cared For by a Bilingual Team

Our teachers move comfortably between English and Spanish all day long, so children build vocabulary in both languages naturally, through play, not flashcards.

  • Background-checked staff, trained in emergencies, first aid, and CPR
  • Low teacher-to-child ratios
  • Ongoing training in early childhood care
  • Annual on-site supervision visits from Utah state licensing staff

Karen

Infant Teacher

Karen is the infant teacher. She has three completed semesters of special education and a nursing degree. While her studies weren't focused on early education, she has a deep sensitivity for young children, caring for them with great tenderness and responsibility. She organizes their schedules and feeding, reads them stories, and sings songs. She loves taking them to play in their own space and has fun right alongside them. Babies are very safe with her.
